Agent Kim Reactivated's finale lands on Netflix today, capping one of 2026's biggest K-drama hits

A quiet Saturday for premieres, but the So Ji-sub spy thriller wraps its 10-episode run, Spooky in Love and The Apartment Job drop fresh weekend episodes, and Saturday Night leaves Netflix today.

The pick of the day: Agent Kim Reactivated's finale

Agent Kim Reactivated ends its first season today as episode 10, the finale, drops on Netflix after its broadcast on Korea's SBS (it lands on Netflix globally right after the Korean airing). So Ji-sub stars as a former agent, "Manager Kim," who returns to action when his daughter vanishes, and the show has become one of the year's most-watched K-dramas, holding above 20% in Korean Nielsen ratings for six straight episodes and peaking at 23.1% with episode 8 (Soompi, July 23). As noted yesterday, this was the finale's scheduled date.

What the finale sets up. Episode 9 reunited Kim with his rescued daughter Min-ji, but the finale forces one last mission: protect a longtime enemy in exchange for a chance at a normal life, with a possible traitor inside the bureau and his allies' children kidnapped (Mediafine, July 25).
A hit by the numbers. The series opened at 9.5%, climbed past 15% by episode two, and has stayed above 20% since episode four, a rare feat for a cable drama (Mediafine, July 25).

No new series or films premiere this Saturday, but two ongoing Saturday-Sunday K-dramas drop fresh episodes today, both simulcast on Netflix hours after their Korean broadcast.

Leaving today: Saturday Night

Saturday Night (2024), Jason Reitman's account of the 90 minutes before the first-ever SNL broadcast in 1975, leaves Netflix today, July 25, as its 18-month Sony first-window deal expires (whats-on-netflix). Gabriel LaBelle plays a young Lorne Michaels, with Dylan O'Brien, Finn Wolfhard, and J.K. Simmons in the ensemble, and critics gave it 77% on Rotten Tomatoes against a soft roughly $10 million box office (comingsoon). It heads to Disney-owned services next, so if you haven't caught it yet, today is likely your last window.
