All five Hunger Games films hit Netflix today, plus Quarterback Season 3 with Daniels, Mayfield, Ward and a midseason-traded Flacco

Seven titles landed on Netflix US this Tuesday: all five Hunger Games films, including the prequel's Netflix debut; a new season of the NFL docuseries Quarterback; and a food-science cooking show from America's Test Kitchen. Side Effects leaves tomorrow.
The pick of the day: The Hunger Games franchise
The whole saga is streaming on Netflix as of today, all five films in one place. That means the four Jennifer Lawrence entries, The Hunger Games (2012), Catching Fire (2013), Mockingjay - Part 1 (2014) and Mockingjay - Part 2 (2015), alongside the 2023 prequel The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, which makes its Netflix debut. The prequel stars Tom Blyth as the young Coriolanus Snow opposite Rachel Zegler's Lucy Gray Baird, with Viola Davis and Peter Dinklage rounding out the cast, and it runs two hours and 37 minutes after a strong 2023 theatrical run.
- The timing is no accident. A sixth film, Sunrise on the Reaping, reaches theaters Nov. 20, so the franchise is back in one place for a rewatch, or a first watch, right before the next chapter arrives.
- For completists it is the first time all five have sat on a single US streamer together in a while. Netflix has carried the Lawrence films before, but not recently, and the prequel has never been on Netflix US until now.
- One catch: these are Lionsgate catalog licenses, not Netflix Originals, and licensing windows on marquee franchises tend to be short. If you want the full marathon, sooner is safer than later.
Quarterback: Season 3
Quarterback returns for its third season today, all episodes at once, following four NFL quarterbacks through the 2025 season at very different stages of their careers.
- The standout storyline belongs to Joe Flacco. The 40-year-old former Super Bowl MVP started the season in Cleveland, got benched for rookie Dillon Gabriel, and was then traded to the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals in early October after Joe Burrow's injury, the first Browns-to-Bengals deal since Cleveland re-entered the league in 1999. It is the kind of midseason upheaval the show was built to capture.
- He is paired with Jayden Daniels entering Year 2 in Washington, a fiery Baker Mayfield trying to keep Tampa Bay in contention, and Cam Ward, the 2025 No. 1 overall pick, finding his feet in Tennessee. Early episode reviews are warm, with Sports Illustrated singling out the Flacco-family hour; there is no Rotten Tomatoes consensus yet.
Techniquely: Season 1
Techniquely is a food-science cooking show hosted by Cook's Illustrated test cook Lan Lam with the America's Test Kitchen team, trading competition drama for kitchen chemistry and aimed at home cooks who want the why behind a recipe rather than a race. No critic consensus yet.
Leaving this week
Side Effects (2013), Steven Soderbergh's lean pharmaceutical thriller with Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum and Jude Law, leaves Netflix tomorrow, July 15. It is your last full day.
The entire eight-film Saw franchise, Saw through Saw VI plus Saw: The Final Chapter and Jigsaw, departs Sunday, July 19. If you want the full Jigsaw run, this is the week.
The full leaving list is on Netflix's Tudum page.
