Divorce by text, a new baby, and one couple still standing: Love Is Blind: UK's reunion leads a quiet two-title Sunday
Subscribe
Two Netflix Originals landed on Netflix US this Sunday: a three-episode Love Is Blind: UK catch-up and a Colombian wedding-planner rom-com. Bob Marley: One Love leaves Netflix today.
The pick of the day: Love Is Blind: UK After the Altar
Love Is Blind: UK After the Altar arrives on Netflix today, a three-episode special that checks back in with the Season 2 pod squad (plus a few Season 1 favorites) weeks after their reunion. All three episodes drop at once, so it is a single-sitting watch rather than a weekly drip.
- Megan and Kieran, the only Season 2 couple still married, host the reunion around Kieran's 30th birthday. The special was filmed in November 2025, so what you see is roughly eight months stale, which explains why Jasmine is heavily pregnant on screen but already a mum to baby Marley Danny in real life.
- The drama is the draw: Sarover and Kal split months after the wedding, and she says he asked her to file for divorce by text message after unblocking her on socials. Billy and Ashleigh, Jed and Bardha, and Javen and Katisha all finished apart, and Javen shows up promising to "cause some chaos." If you watched Season 2 last year, this is the closure episode.
- No critic scores yet, which is normal for a reality reunion. It is built for franchise fans, and it doubles as a runway for Love Is Blind: UK Season 3, which Netflix says is coming later this summer.
Also new today: Susana and Elvira: No Plan B
Susana and Elvira: No Plan B is a Colombian Netflix Original film, an hour and 52 minutes of Spanish-language romantic comedy from director Maria Gamboa (Púlsar Studios and Jaguar Bite). Manuela González and Mabel Moreno play former best friends who reunite two years after a trip wrecked their friendship to plan the celebrity wedding of the year, with Julián Cerati and Claudio Cataño in support. No reviews are live yet, so there is no critical consensus to report. If you have been waiting for a Colombian studio to take a real swing at the wedding-planner rom-com, this is that swing; everyone else can treat it as a low-stakes Sunday watch. The production team billed it as an attempt at "the most emblematic chick flick made in Colombia," which is a high bar to set on a quiet drop day.
Leaving this week
Bob Marley: One Love leaves Netflix today, July 12. The 2024 Paramount biopic stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley and Lashana Lynch as Rita, tracing the Kingston-to-global-superstar arc. Yesterday was likely your last full day to stream it, so if it is still in your queue, press play now before the license clears.
Still catchable if you move this week:
- Tusk (2014) leaves in the next day or two, so it is effectively on its final hours.
- Side Effects (2013) leaves July 15.
- The entire Saw franchise, from the 2004 original through 2021's Spiral, leaves July 19, so the full horror run goes dark together.
The full departure list is on Netflix's Tudum leaving page, which Netflix updates as dates shift.
